Eastman- October, November, December 2016

My boy...

I absolutely love this picture!  Isn't he the cutest?!

10/20: One day out of the blue, Eastman asked me, "Does Ninnie still have lots of cats?"  (Ninne is my grandmother, who passed away before my kids were born.)  I responded, "No, Ninnie died and is in Heaven."  Eastman replied back, "Ninnie dies on Earth but is alive in Heaven."  This boy speaks the truth!

10/24: Eastman was reading a book on the toilet in the morning and was saying each letter aloud. When I came in he said, "That's not the ABCs."  We then had a conversation about how letters are put together to form words.  The words tell the story.

Eastman played teeball this fall and it was one of the most precious things to watch him do.  In one of his games, he was running towards home.  He got to home plate, but the batting tee was sitting on top of home plate.  He picked up the tee and moved it out of the way so that he could step on home plate.

Precious kiddos reading with Papa.  Oh how they love their Papa!

A few more things that my boy did or said...

11/13: He so badly wanted us to take off the rails from the sides of his bed (rails that keep him from rolling off of the bed.)  Dave took one side down and Eastman was beyond excited.  Felt like such a big boy!

11/25: It was time for bed.  Eastman said, "Let me get my favorite book.  My favorite book is the Bible."

12/7: Eastman was given a large Minion toy that sings, talks and dances.  He was trying to tell Andi how to make it work.  Where the button was that needed to be pushed in order to make it move or talk.  He said, "Push it's penis."  (Well, the button was slightly lower than the Minion's belly...)
