Andi Lynn-- 3 years 9 months

Fun times with my girl!

11/23: We were riding in the car and Andi asks, "Momma when are you going to have another baby?"  I smiled and told her that I did not know.  I asked her if she wanted me to have another baby and she said yes.  :)  Sweet girl loves being a big sister.  What a great big sister she is!

Andi loves to play Mommy, Andi, and baby Zoey.  She is always the mommy and I am Andi.  She has a doll that she puts under her shirt and goes to the hospital (her bed) and has baby Zoey.  She can play this over and over again (and does!).

12/4:  We were at the park eating a picnic and had pretzels.  She said, "Look mom, pretzels have praying hands."  :)

Andi loves to bake.  I'm not sure if its the baking she enjoys more or licking the sppon when we are done.  Pretty sure it is licking the spoon!

Loves playing dress-up.  She got some dress-up dresses for Christmas and immediately wanted to put on the Cinderella dress.  She is very much into Disney princesses now.

Snow day!  Ice day!

Eastman Rex-- 8 months

10/25: Eastman waved goodbye to me as I left for work.  I love that he is starting to really interact with us a lot and tries to mimic things that we are doing.

11/1: Two more teeth erupting upper left and right lateral incisors

Andi loves to  "give raspberries."  She lifts up Eastman's shirt (or mom or dad's) and blows against our skin until it makes a funny sound.  Well, now Eastman likes to "give raspberries."  Doesn't have to be on the stomach, sometimes it is on the next or arm.  Silly boy!

One of the cutest sounds ever: Eastman inhales loudly when he is excited.

11/12:  Eastman's two front teeth are coming in!  He now has six teeth!

Here is a pic of Eastman and Sutton playing together.  Best buddies.  Sutton is almost exactly one month older than Eastman.

Eastman as triying to race Sister up the slide.  He is a climber--but did not make it to the top.  :)

Pure cuteness!  Pure joy!

Andi Lynn-- 3 years 8 months

Another month has come and gone!  So quickly!  A few cute and funny moments...

10/20: Andi put two things under her shirt and said, "I've got two babies in my tummy. Their names are Noah and Zoey."  Sweet girl loves her cousins; loves Zoey and will not let us ever forget little Noah.  :)

10/21: Nana and Andi were making cookies out of playdoh.  Andi made some pink ones and Nana asked what kind they were and Andi's response was, "Strawberry Sorbet, of course!"  Nana thought this was so clever-they could not simply be strawberry, had to be strawberry sorbet.

10/22: At dinner we like to ask Andi about her day and what she did at school.  She said, "today was Ms. Patty's birthday.  Remember Ms. Patty?   Ms. Patty is the one with hair kinda like a nut."  Dave just cracked up and thought that was the funniest thing ever.  So the next time we went to Andi's school we met Ms. Patty.  (Still not quite sure why Andi thinks her hair looks like a nut.)

11/2: "Daddy you are a clever genius."  Dave was so proud.

11/2: When Andi said her prayer at night, "God, I want to think you for you because you made all of this."  Precious!  I love hearing her prayers.

11/5: I was cold and had my robe on.  Andi said, "Mommy you look like a sorcerer."  Again Dave thought this was so funny.  Maybe Andi is the "clever genius."  :)

Got a few dress up things from her cousin Samuel at Thanksgiving and loved putting them on and looking beautiful.

Andi Lynn--3 years 7 months

The fire department visited Andi's school.

Since I am keeping up with Eastmans' happeneings, I will continue to keep up with Andi's.  She is such a clever, creative little girl, it is easy to keep track of some of the funny things she does and says.

9/19/13: Dave asked Andi, "Did you do anything fun at school today?"  Andi said, "Well, I did something a little fun.:"  Dave asked, "Well, what was it?  Andi quickly replied with, "Nuh uh uh...I cannot tell you.  I'll tell you after we play our board game."  Well, that is one way to make sure she gets to play a board game.  She is sure loving board games right now.  She is her mother's daughter.  :)

Andi can spell "orange."  She came home singing a little song about the color oragne and then spelled it out.

9/29/13:  We meet for small groups most Sunday evenings.  Andi asked if our "little group"  could come over and I thought that was pretty cute.  Little group=Small group.

Andi knows most of her colors in Spanish.  She knows red, blue, green, yellow, orange, pink, purple, brown.

10/14: Andi just started reciting the Pledge to the Bible.  I did not know that there was such a thing.  We were at one of Dave's pep rallies and they began to do the Pledge of Alligence and she started in with this pledge.  It is really cute.  I asked her where she learned it and she told me that she learned it in chapel at school.  She is really learning a lot in chapel at school and is loving it.  What a great thing!

Andi's Halloween costume choices/suggestions so far have included a unicorn, princess, ballerina, and her newest one: flower, a potted flower (she described how she wanted a brown pot around her legs and prink flowers around her face).  We shall see what she ends up deciding on for Halloween.

Andi never ceases to amaze me.  She is full of spunk and energy and love.

Eastman Rex- 7 months

Waiting at the doctor's office....happy boy!

Not sure if it is a boy thing or a second baby thing, but this boy is moving and grooving!  This Momma is not quite ready for all of this!

9/25/13: Eastman can pull up to standing. He did so in his crib at Nana's house.  I guess it is already time to lower his crib so he doesn't throw himself overboard.

10/6/13: He is not only pulling up but now starting to transfer.  He pulled up on his play table then transferred over to the footrest of the recliner and back to his play table.  Impressive!  Does this mean that he is going to be walking soon?!  He loves to stand.  If he is placed on the floor, he immedicately crwls over to something that he can pull up on and stand.

10/20/13: Eastman crawled from the living room over to the stairs.  He did not stop there!  He pulled himself up to stnading, holding onto the bottom step and then proceeded to crawl up first step all by himself!  After he accomplished that, he looked back at me as if to say, "Help, Mommy!  I don't know what to do next!"  Funny thing is-I don't know what to do next!  How is it that he gowing so quickly and on-the-move?!

I love this boy!  He sure does bring a smile to my face...Daddy's...and Andi's.  Everyone!

His huge smile and laugh is enough to make me melt!  Absolutely adorable!

Andi Lynn- 42 months

Andi and her best friend Kinley at Open House before school started.

School has started back up for Andi and she is loving it.  She is going Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.

Here are just a couple of goodies from this past month:

Andi knows what street we live on and asks street names.  When we go places, she will ask, "What street do they live on."  "What street is my school on?"

8/26: Andi put a ring on her ring finger and said, "Now I'm married to Jesus."  She did it again and said, "Now I'm married to Daddy."  Dave and I both smile and said, "That's right!"

Andi sure does love her "Bubba."  And he absolutely adores her.

9/6: Andi consistently counts to 15 in Spanish.  Her Spanish teacher at school, Ms. Liz, sent me a message stating that "little miss smarty pants was showing off her Spanish in class" (the first day of Spanish class).

9/10: I went to give her a kiss goodbye on my way to work and she said, "Mom, can you just send me an email kiss?"  What?!  I am pretty sure my jaw dropped open and I started laughing.  What a little stinker!

Andi loves to play board games.  This time Eastman got in onthe action!

9/10: Andi can spell a new word "R-E-D."

Andi thinks it is pretty big time that they do not have naps in preschool this year.  She did tell me about a flashlight "firefly" game they play during rest time.  She loves it.

My girl is growing up.  Love her.  She is little miss independent-always has been--but still loves and asks for her Momma to hold her (Yay!).  I will always!

Eastman Rex- 6 months

Has half a year already gone by?!  Why is my boy growing so fast.  Slow down time!

Here are a few of his new developments:

8/25: Eastman can sit up on his own.  Yay!  Five months old and so strong.

He is also sleeping on his stomach.  He does not want to lay on his back.  He immediately rolls over to his stomach.  He would much rather be looking around or sitting up.

9/1: First tooth starting to erupt.

9/11: Tooth number two.

9/15: Crawling!!!

9/16: Started eating rice cereal.  I got an email from his teachers asking for me to send food with him next time.  They said he had blown through both of his bottles and is still hungry.  Says he watches his friends eating and wants to join in the fun.

This is a pic that his teachers sent from school.  Happy boy!  They say that he is always happy.  He goes to school Tuesday and Thursday.  He has Mrs. Leighann and Mrs. Amy.  Pretty neat because Andi had them for teachers when she started at KidCare.

9/18: Eastman can go from laying down to sitting up in his own!

Eastman Rex loves to play peek-a-boo.  He is such a happy boy.  Is not a huge fan of naptime, but it doesn't really affect his mood.  He likes to smile!  And he thinks that his sister is hilarious!  He smiles with his whole body when he sees her and will laugh out loud at things she does.  Pretty precious!
