Andi Lynn- August 2014

Andi is a busy girl. Always thinking. Always wanting to do something. Always curious and asking questions. I love to see and hear her little mind at work. She says the sweetest things that I want to capture and remember for always!

8/1: Andi still talks about heaven a lot. This day she asked if we would all be kids in heaven. She said that she thinks that we will all be young and will be kids when we are in heaven. She then said that she wants to be a little baby again in Mommy's arms when she is in heaven.

8/3: "Milk gives your body joy!" My kids are pretty goo milk drinkers. They have been known to go through a half gallon in one day! Most of their milk drinking is in cereal, but hey, I'll take it.

8/10: Dave and I went out and the kids stayed the evening with Nana and Papa. We did not pick them up until after bedtime. We found Eastman with Papa asleep in Papa's bed and Andi asleep in the guest bed with Nana. Nana told us that they were all four in the same bed at first. Papa and Eastman fell asleep. Andi then said to Nana, "You have two choices. We can stay here and listen to Papa snore or we can go to another bed where it is quieter so I can actually go to sleep." Can you believe this little stinker?! Can you blame her? Papa is a really loud snorer and I imagine it really was hard for her to go to sleep. She will complain about Daddy's snoring too sometimes.
8/17: Andi thinks that a kiss equals getting married. When we are playing, she will say that her kitties are getting married so they kiss and she will say that they are married now.
8/31: After tucking Andi into bed one night we were laying there just snuggling and talking and she asked me, "Mommy who is pregnant right now? Can you tell me all the names of people who have a baby in their tummy right now?" I started listing: Aunt Lynley, Aunt Anna Lee, J.J., Shannon... She stopped me and said, "When are you going to be pregnant? You should wish to God for a baby right now. Go ahead, wish to God right now." I smiled and gave her a big hug. I asked her if she wanted another baby in our family. She said yes and that maybe she could have a little sister this time. (Andi often talks about us having 99 kids. She will then say that we will need a house with 100 bedrooms. 99 rooms for the kids and one room for Mommy and Daddy. I have to tell her that 99 kids may be too many. She says that she will share all of her toys and if we run out of toys they will all just have to take turns.)
As a end-of-summer/back-to-school special treat, we took Andi to Build-a-Bear Workshop. She of course picked out a pink cat and named her Beauty. She picked out a crown and tutu for Beauty to wear. She is so proud of her new kitty. Eastman was going to get to make a stuffed animal too but he fell asleep in the car and slept through the whole mall event so he got an Elmo toy later that day.

My Angels.  Sweet, sleepy babies.  When they are tired, they crash and are out.

Yummy Yogurtville! Andi loves to go to these types of frozen yogurt places. She is pretty predictable: chocolate ice cream topped with M&Ms, chocolate chips and some marshmallows.

Riding 4-wheelers at Uncle Crazy's house. Eastman wanting nothing to do with this but Andi thought it was great fun.

Go Cowboys! (although we are watching in the Rangers, as you can see)

Loves cats. Asks me everyday when we can get a kitty

First day of Pre-K. (Don't even say it...that my girl will be starting kindergarten next year!)

Super Hero fun day at Nana's house!

Making Daddy his birthday cake! She had to do a little sampling along the way to make sure it had enough chocolate.
