Eastman- 4 months

A few things about this past month...

He is wearing:
Size 2 diapers
Size 6 month or 9 month clothes.  Most of his clothes are 9 months-he pretty much skipped wearing most of his 6 months clothes.  He is a growing boy.  So big!

Our son is definitely a boy.  He already has stinky toots.  Really stinky!  He only has one massive poo every fourth day or just one a week.  Can you say blow-out?!

His stats from his doctor appointment:
16 pounds 11 ounces {75-90 percentile}
27 inches long {95-98 percentile}
head circumference 17 inches {90-95 percentile}

He is doing lots of smiling and laughing out loud.  He is talking to us, cooing, and already looks like he is trying to mimic our mouth movements when we are talking to him.
Eastman is really good at giving open mouth kisses.  The juicier, the better.

This past month is has started playing in exersaucer.

He is trying to sit up on his own-not quite there yet.  He is also really trying to pull himself up to a sitting position when we lay him down.  He has some good core abdominal muscles already and I think he will be sitting in no time.

His hand-eye-mouth coordination is pretty good too.  He is grabbing things and bringing them to his mouth.  He has started wanting something to suck or chew on...but still not crazy about a pacifier.  Oh no, is he going to be a thumbsucker?!

Eastman has started to notice Pearl and likes watching her.  Eastman can see from across the room and I think he is recognizing faces and voices.  He is especially fond of his Momma and Daddy's voices.  Oh, and Sissy too.  Andi still likes to sing to him and I think Bubba enjoys listening to his big sis.

He has been sleeping in his crib and does pretty well.  He goes to sleep like clockwork at 8 pm and then tends to wake up about 4 am for a feeding.  He goes right back to sleep and wakes up for the morning around 7:30 or so.
