Eastman- 5 months

Eastman is growing too quickly!  He is such a big boy!  Here are some key happenings, milestones this past month...

7/24:  Eastman has decided that he finally likes his Pacifier.  This is a great thing.  We have tried giving it to him earlier but he did not show much interest.  Now he will actually take it and keep it in his mouth.

7/31: He rolled back to tummy.  (And now that he knows he can, he does it All-the-time!

Pulls up to sitting, arches back/trying to sit up.

Is really good at grabbing, holding, and putting things in his mouth -Constantly!

8/1: Eastman is making the "Bu-Bu" sounds. I am convinced he has said "Bubba." He already knows his nickname. He does hear us say it to him everyday.

8/4: Eastman had his first day in Bible class.  He did great.  He is still a little too small for the chairs and isn't quite sitting up, so they had to stuff some blankets in around him to prop him up some.  He was the only boy in the class and by far the youngest one in there by about 4-5 months.

8/10: This one I love, Eastman has started reaching out towards me when I go to pick him up.  He grins and gets very excited when he sees his Momma.  :)

8/12: Well, maybe its not quite official, but he said "Mama."  Yes, he did.  He looked right at me and said it.  :)

8/15: Eastman now does lots of rolling over. Whenever we put him on his back, he immediately flips onto his tummy and raises up on his arms and put his chest in the air.  What a strong boy!

8/16: Eastman slept on tummy all night for the first time because when I put him in his crib on his back, he instead slept on his side for a little bit before rolling completely over to his tummy.

Eastman, your sister sure does love you!  She is always wanting to hold you.  She likes for you to be involved in everything we are doing.  What a good big sis!
And you love your sister.  Whenever you see her, your face lights up and you smile ear-to-ear.
I love watching the two of you interact.  Melts my heart!
