How can it be?! Eastman will be ONE next month! Eastman Rex- 11 months

Can it really be?  My boy will be one next month!

How has a year already flown by?!  I feel like I just had this baby...and now he is almost one!  On the flip side, it is hard to even remember life without him in it.  He is such a joy!  What a happy boy!  His smile warms my heart and makes everyday better.

Eastman is really getting to where is can say words and phrases.  When he is done eating, he will turn his hands over and back and say "all done."  He does and says this very clearly and we know tht when he says "all done," that means he is done.  Do not try to force him to eat one more bite-he will spit it out!

He is walking more and more.  He can take several steps at a time and will now do it all on his won.  We don't even have to prompt him or encourage him to walk-sometimes we look up and there he goes, taking a few steps.

The other day, he was holding one of Andi's kittens and I said, "Cat. Meow-meow."  He very clearly repeated, "meow-meow."  He will also say "ruff-ruff" or "dog" when seeing a puppy.

His new thing is to pull off his socks and play with them.  Silly boy!  Many times we will get home and he will be wearing only one sock.  He will have pulled it off nt he car or somewhere along the way.

Eastman is officially done nursing.  I guess he has been done for a couple weeks.  He went from nursing a few times a day to once a day (usually morning) and is now done completely.  The best part of it is that there was no decidion that had to be made.  He just stopped nursing on his own and i stopped producing.  So nice that it worked out that way.  Same thing happened with Andi at about 10 or 11 months.

He is in his big boy car seat now.  Andi got an upgrade and he got Andi's previous car seat.  He loves his big boy car seat.  He can look out the window and not feel so crammed in that infant carrier that he had gotten way too big for.
