ICE!

We went to the Gaylord ICE! exhibit with Shane, Anna Lee, and Zoey and it was so cool!  Literally!  The theme this year was Frosty the Snowman.  To get the kids excited about it, we watched the movie Frosty the Snowman the night before.  Both kids loved the movie.  So much that they have both been requesting to watch it again and again.  (And we have wathced it again and again.)  We bought the picture at ICE! of all of us and Eastman carries it around the house singing, "Frosty the Snowman."
ICE! at the Gaylord is a big production.  Ice carvers come in and sculpt incredible master pieces out of ice and then color the ice.  It is pretty amazing!  The kids loved the ice slides inside.  They make stairs and slides out of ice and both kids went up and down again and again.  They probably would have gone even more times if the rest of us hadn't been ready to go throught the rest of the exhibit.  It is freezing in there!  Really.  Six degrees!  You can only stay in there so long before feeling the chill.  We came equipped with gloves, hats, and coats, and then piled on the blue parkas that they gave us.
